Included here as the first production I might consider of any note, The Hobbit marked my first adventure with the Seattle Children’s Theatre summer stage program to which I would return throughout middle and high school and which played a major role in setting me on my path as an actor today.

For someone who was always among the shortest, smallest kids in any group, it was a mighty feeling to step into the boots of the proud Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain.  Far more than just a play for me, it was an affirming experience: not only did I find a voice on the stage, I found that could be as big or as small as I liked.
