In my third summer stage outing with Seattle Children’s Theatre, I got to revisit some familiar territory: in elementary school, The Odyssey was the first playin which I ever played the lead role in a Stone Soup Theatre children’s production, and though I took on a different mantle this time around, I was happy to be back in Ithaka.  Staged with in a somewhat minimalist manner, The Odyssey at SCT was a wonderful exploration in the power of the ensemble to bring imagination to life onstage as we formed the many mythical beasts, creatures, and monsters with nothing but our small bodies.
