I’ve never been a huge poetry fan (maybe I just don’t understand it), but Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales holds a special place in my heart.  The first non-school production I ever performed in was an annual staged adaptation of the poem at Seattle’s Stone Soup Theatre, and I was thrilled several years later to be asked back to play the lead role: a young Dylan Thomas living out his Christmas memories.
